The Redlands icon is located in a one hundred-year-old Victorian Cottage in Historic Downtown Redlands. The Spa is a quiet retreat where you can escape from the stress of everyday pressures and renew your body, mind, and spirit. Relax by the bubbling fountain in the meditation garden, or sip hot apple cider by the cozy fireplace.

International Day Spa employs 10 massage therapists trained in a wide variety of European and Oriental massage techniques. The Holistic Health Practitioner advises on nutrition, relaxation, exercise, and other lifestyle components that aid in obtaining optimum health. The specially trained pregnancy therapist teaches infant massage an pre/post natal care. The Kneipp therapist administers hydro (water) therapy including thalasso (sea) and balneo (tub) therapies, Galien jet Scotch hose (a German treatment to strengthen the immune system) mud and sea algae packs and use of the Vichy shower (a remarkable French invention with 5 shower heads in the ceiling.) The 5 estheticians are skilled in all aspects of skin renewal and rejuvenation and the paramedical acne specialist works closely with dermatologists.

The professional clinic offers a variety of treatments that are an adjunct to physical therapy, chiropractic care, plastic surgery, dermatology, and psychology. The staff works in concert with several doctors in these fields.

The Spa is a member of the International Spa Association, Day Spa Association, ClubSpa USA, Aesthetics International Association, National Federation of Independent Businesses, Better Business Bureau, as well as the Redlands, Loma Linda, California, and United States Chambers of Commerce.

International Day Spa was founded by Mimi Barre, who has been “making the world beautiful, one person at a time, since 1958.”
